OUR LEADER
Meet George!
He’s the Proud owner of Fetta’s Greek Tavern, bringing passion, precision and a touch of flair to Greek cuisine in FNQ.
Established in 1975, George opened his first business, Mykonos Nightclub, in Fitzroy, Melbourne, at just 20. He later opened several restaurants and nightclubs, including Paralia Nightclub, Ouzos Taverna and The Greek Spot Bar. In 1987, he moved to Perth and opened Greek Taverna, winning “Best Restaurant of the Year” three years running.
In 1997, George moved to Cairns, opening Fetta’s and El Greko. Today, Fetta’s remains his pride and joy.
